Etichub on Repubblica: Research and Innovation in Cosmetics

Cosmetics have strong scientific, ethical, and social value for Etichub. This was discussed by our CEO, Dr. Mariella Bleve, in an interview with Repubblica:

Behind every product, there must be solid scientific work, which we guarantee by offering services to develop high-quality, safe, effective, and sustainable cosmetics.”

Responsible Innovation and Sustainability

In the interview, Etichub shared its research lines, patents, and registered trademarks, as well as its commitment to more sustainable cosmetics. A key point is upcycling, which involves recovering waste from the food industry and transforming it into valuable cosmetic ingredients. Concrete examples include the use of olive oil wastewater, spent grains, coffee waste, hazelnut and dried fruit oils, and grapes. This approach reduces waste and creates a virtuous cycle between different production chains.
