The University of Pavia, as part of the NODES – Nord Ovest Digitale E Sostenibile program, in collaboration with Etichub, concluded its sustainability training program with the “Packaging Assessor” event, dedicated to the world of packaging in the cosmetics industry.
During the event, held on February 14, 2025, it became clear how crucial packaging has become in the development of cosmetic products, and with it, the role of the Packaging Assessor. Key topics discussed included packaging types, sustainable materials and solutions, compatibility testing aimed at ensuring performance and safety, and international regulations—all fundamental aspects for ensuring quality, safety, and innovation in the sector.
The debate, moderated by several expert speakers, highlighted the need for a key figure within the cosmetics industry: the Packaging Assessor, a professional with specialized skills capable of guiding companies toward informed and effective packaging choices.
The event engaged a diverse audience, thanks to the opportunity to participate both in person and remotely. This approach demonstrated how the topics covered, particularly those related to sustainability, are of great interest and relevance to participants.
